Real Estate Design Manager Senior

We offer an exciting opportunity to join our Global Design & Construction Team, and be part of a team that values innovation, collaboration, and sustainability. In this dynamic role, you will maintain design guidelines, coordinate content with internal and external stakeholders, and oversee implementation into projects.
As a Design Manager Senior in the Global Design & Construction team, you will maintain design guidelines and coordinate with stakeholders to implement projects. You will support the development of design concepts and ensure alignment with program requirements. Your role is crucial in promoting sustainability and green building practices within our projects. In this role, you will help promote all the initiatives forward.
**Job responsibilities:**
+ Maintain design guidelines and coordinate content with stakeholders.
+ Support the development of design concepts, block plans, and test-fits.
+ Review and comment on design documents at various project stages.
+ Provide design support and guidance to project managers and external teams.
+ Collaborate with consultants and vendors to develop design solutions.
+ Prepare presentation materials and present design topics to leadership.
+ Stay updated on emerging design trends and best practices.
**Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:**
+ Professional degree in Architecture or Interior Design with a track record in hospitality interiors.
+ 8+ years of experience in commercial architecture and interior design.
+ Experience with the entire project lifecycle and knowledge of building codes.
+ Understanding of branded hospitality environments and design components.
+ Experience in hospitality project types, including a good working knowledge of all related codes and regulations
+ Familiarity with Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP) and structural building systems.
+ Registration or certification with a relevant professional association is an asset.
+ Excellent oral and written presentation skills.
+ Strong leadership, organization, communication, and relationship management skills.
+ Proficiency in AutoCAD
**Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:**
+ 2+ years of experience in global hospitality lounge spaces or financial services.
+ Applied knowledge of sustainability strategies and green building practices.
+ Knowledge of Revit, Sketch-up, Visio, InDesign preferred.
