This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a Head of Real Estate Mgmt. Finance Americas, you will be responsible for:

Commercial responsibility for our Corporate Real Estate function in USA and the countries associated to the Region AmericasManagement and organization of an effective Real Estate finance organization with disciplinary and professional leadership responsibilityProvision of financial guidance and support to ensure a robust financial control environment and conformance with group accounting policiesResponsibility for transparent and sound financial statements in compliance with IFRS and local accounting standardsAccountability for annual budget and monthly forecast process in close cooperation with national and international departmentsCost controlling, deviation analyzes, property-specific comparability calculations, business case and rental calculationsAssurance of effective financial reporting processes, considering regular reporting to central SHS RE management and local senior stakeholdersCommercial rental lease management, assuring of a regular and correct recognition of internal and extern rental payments, charges and salesCentral point of contact for accounting, auditors and tax consultantsSupport in introduction and optimization of IT-systems for the purpose of planning, control and monitoring of RE business processes

You have solid knowledge in both the commercial real estate and accounting/finance domains, with an understanding of CRE business practices and decision-making processes.You are a skilled and persuasive communicator, composed in challenging situations, firm but professional.You have a strong understanding of lease accounting (IFRS 16 or ASC 842).You are familiar with all office applications, have strong Excel skills and are an experienced SAP user.You are familiar with commercial real estate leases as well as CRE purchase / sale transactions.You are an experienced manager with a track record of developing employees to take on increasing responsibilities with success.You have a strong quality orientation, able to find pragmatic solutions but are firm on principles.

Required skills to have for the success of this role (University Degree preferred or required, Years of Experience)

Bachelor’s degree and education in the field of real estate economics or well-founded on the job experience in Corporate Real Estate economicsProven line management ability. Minimum of 10 years' experience working in a finance roleExperience of maintaining and developing financial controls and processesAdvanced practical experience with SAP and MS Office products, particularly Excel and Power Point.Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, with good written and oral skillsExperience of working in international, cross-organizational environmentsWell organized and methodical, with excellent attention to detail10 % TravelHybrid role, with regular presence in Malvern office required

The pay range for this position is $221,000 - $332,000 annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
