The Corporate Real Estate (CRE) organization is a centralized department that is responsible for CRE activities worldwide, serving >40,000 employees

Role and Responsibilities

As our principal you will be accountable for developing and appropriate approval of business case, feasibility study and scope during the initiate phase and securing and safeguarding the business case throughout the complete project life cycle for large Real Estate Development projects. Critical to the following success factors: scope, planning, budget.

As our principal you will have the following responsibilities;

Project Team ManagementLeads large project- and program teams (or multiple small to medium teams); defines the project/program vision and communicates the outcomes needed along with guidance to achieve outcomeManages resources across projects/programs;Negotiates flow of additional team members on and off the team as needed;Builds the capability of the team through training, coaching and mentoring.

Project GovernanceEnsures that roles and responsibilities are clearly defined within the project delivery and project management office teamsEnsures project compliance with ASML's wider program and/or portfolio management decision-making structures and processes.

Stakeholder Management and AdvisingManages a complex organizational environment with strategic stakeholders and needs to acquire senior management buy-inDevelops and implements stakeholder engagement strategies and plans across the program to identify relevant stakeholders, to create mutually supportive working relationships, and to ensure that each stakeholder has an appropriate share of voice at both project and program levels.

Project Risk and Issue ManagementEnsures that risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints are managed appropriately at project level.Oversees cross-sectoral critical paths and risks. Where risks or issues threaten delivery of the project, develops and agrees recovery plans or, if relevant, together with sponsor/project board agrees to pauze or cancel the project.

People DevelopmentGives guidance and direction towards project team(s).Coaches and develops project managers on overall project management skills and results.Gives feedback and (indirectly) leads, engages, motivates and inspires Project team members, Project leaders and Project managers
Education and experience

You have a master and a technical study background.

Has broad general work experienceHas extensive process and organizational knowledge to make (process) decisions on critical moments in a project/program.Has led several X-sector projects in technical industrial cross-cultural environment.

SkillsEffective communicationStakeholder managementcoaching, training and mentoring of project managers
