Job Description
This role is 100% remote with occasional travel to downtown Seattle a few times over the 6-month project. The Project Manager will work closely with the product owner to manage gap analysis workshops to understand current business processes, identify primary business challenges, and uncover improvement opportunities.
ResponsibilitiesWork with the vendor to resolve identified gaps in the enhanced product and facilitate cloud migration.Lead the project team in implementing budget management improvement solutions.Create a shared vision and strategy for the delivery of a complex project involving multiple stakeholders and business partners.Establish project goals and objectives to meet business needs.Develop key metrics to monitor and govern project outcomes for both business and technology.Ensure an integrated program plan is created and followed by collaborating with selected vendors, business resources, and technology resources.Foster a high-performing operating culture to deliver successful outcomes for the business and enabling technology.Oversee business and project workstreams, including business process management, organizational change management, business analysis, functional specifications, technology integration, development/configuration, and infrastructure implementation.Deliver the full scope of the project to meet predefined business needs and requirements.Apply program/project management skills including direction, monitoring, and oversight for teams, vendors, contractors, consultants, and staff.Develop and oversee detailed project plans with well-defined work breakdown structures, activities, tasks, dependencies, resource-loaded schedules, resource plans, risk management plans, quality plans, acceptance plans, financial plans, communications plans, and procurement plans.Supervise execution activities such as monitoring and controlling overall plans and deliverables, reporting to stakeholders and management on schedule, cost, quality, changes, risks, issues, readiness, and acceptance.Meet financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing the program's annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions. Establish capabilities to track earned value.Essential Skills7+ years of experience in technology program/project management on highly complex projects.Utility real estate management experience.Experience managing a team of IT professionals and business analysts.Experience developing and deploying project best practices from planning through project closeout.Experience managing projects using various Software Development Lifecycles (SDLC).Proficiency in formal change control and change management programs/models.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Ability to communicate effectively with executives, business teams, technical teams, and external agencies.Skilled in influencing stakeholders and driving decisions to closure.Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.Process-oriented with strong attention to detail.Demonstrated experience in Organizational Change Management, Organization Development, or Process Improvement.Additional Skills & QualificationsProject Management Professional (PMP) certificationExperience with SaaS solutionsKnowledge of job costingExperience in change management and process improvementWork Environment
This position is remote with the possibility of traveling to downtown Seattle 2-3 times a month for project meetings.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $52.00 - $53.75/hr.
