Summary
The Real Estate Specialist 1's primary responsibilities include performing land title research, property acquisition, appraisal, and relocation tasks in support of highway, airport, public facility and private projects. The person in this position is responsible for tasks of high complexity and sensitivity, requiring the use of independent judgment in problem-solving, and planning and scheduling to complete the assigned projects with limited oversight. A Real Estate Specialist 1 is expected to exercise a strong work ethic, demonstrate a desire to learn and grow, and have strong organizational and communication skills. This person is expected to work well with others, absorb and apply constructive criticism, and seek guidance from more experienced members of the team as necessary.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's Degree preferred Years of experience required: 2 yearsCertificates, Licenses, Registrations
Real Estate license required (if required by state code) Right of Way Professional (RWP) or equivalent preferred Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving recordMathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to create and interpret graphs and understand statistical analysis.
