**Real Estate Strategy Analysis Team Lead**
**About the Role:**
The Real Estate Strategy Analysis Team Lead will play a crucial role in shaping strategic initiatives within the real estate sector. This position requires a proactive approach, the ability to thrive under pressure, and strong client-facing skills. Key responsibilities are identifying economic opportunities for savings for CBRE clients in the Portfolio Strategy & Optimization team. The individual will be responsible for conducting various analyses focused on cost reduction opportunities that leverage CBRE’s platform and consulting expertise. These analyses may include:
Labor Arbitrage;
Workplace Optimization;
Supply Chain Optimization;
Incentives Optimization;
Mark to Market analysis;
Cost Segregation study;
Lease Audit;
Small Office Agile strategy;
Capital Markets – Synthetic Lease;
Financial modelling;
**What You’ll Do:**
+ Constantly develop the strategy analysts team, provide training, support, and oversight; Coordinate projects, manage workload efficiently.
+ Focus projects workload and expectations, oversee tasks, assist with assignments, and mentor junior staff.
+ Ensure project accuracy, timely delivery, and error-free results while meeting the correct expectations.
+ Assist in enhancing in-house tools by providing feedback and coordinating tasks and responsibilities.
+ Become a trusted in-house advisor for various Clients and CBRE teams on Client’s real estate strategy; ensure effective communication allowing key stakeholders to understand RE implications of real estate decisions and plans
+ Together with domestic strategy leads takes part in development of real estate portfolio strategies, portfolio diagnosis, opportunity spotting, strategic plans to enhance business performance in the real estate market
+ Translate business problems into analytical frameworks and front-end solutions.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project execution and deliver client solutions.
+ Be able to effectively communicate to various teams across the world, obtain necessary information, perform projects autonomously.
+ Good presentation and language skills are preferable, be able to present analysis outcome and recommendations to senior management and clients.
+ Identifies Clients’ portfolio and related data gaps and support the wider team in collating data.
+ Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
+ Be ready to challenge senior stakeholders and be challenged by them when delivering recommendation to Client or CBRE team.
+ Support with research into markets and trends that will be relevant for real estate strategic considerations.
+ Conduct, synthesizes, and presents research on industry best practice, benchmarks, trends and other issues of concern to the client and prepares preliminary recommendations.
+ Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
+ Perform various analyses and provide interactive data visualization with Microsoft Office Suite and BI platforms (Tableau, etc.)
+ Be able to perform financial analyses and financial impact for proposed RE strategies, including cashflow, NPV analysis.
+ Drive innovations/process enhancements including upgrades and updates to Client or in-house strategy models / tools. Be ready to implement new tools and train others from them.
**What You’ll Need:**
+ Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Business, Finance, Real Estate, or a related field. Master’s degree or MBA preferred but not required
+ Minimum of 6 years of experience in strategy analysis, preferably within the real estate industry
+ Proven track record of managing high-pressure assignments and delivering results
+ Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights
+ Business environment understanding and ability to translate business problems to analytical frameworks and front-end solutions
+ Hands-on experience in data analytics, data visualization, data reporting and business intelligence
+ Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite Products
+ Good Knowledge of Tableau
+ Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a client-focused mindset
+ Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers
+ Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
