Real Estate Non Fee-Earning Senior Solicitor, Leeds We are working on a new senior level Real Estate opportunity with a Top Tier international firm in Leeds, which is rather different from the norm. The Real Estate team in Leeds has listened to its bank of more junior lawyers, who were calling for more time with a mentor to help them navigate more complex matters, or areas that are new to them, to get more in-depth input to help them to keep growing their skills, and give them the confidence that they are handling the matter in the right way. The partners listened and created the Supervising Solicitor role. An experienced Managing Associate in the team who was looking for a bit of a change of direction, and who really enjoys mentoring and teaching, stepped into the role, and it has been a roaring success. The junior and mid-level lawyers report that the extra input has been invaluable. So much so that they are now looking for a second Supervising Solicitor to join the team. This Real Estate team is truly wide-ranging in the areas of work that it covers, everything from development and investment, through energy & infrastructure project work to landlord & tenant, corporate occupiers and student accommodation. The ideal person for this role will have a broad technical Real Estate expertise gained with large firms used to acting on behalf of major clients, and a yearning to pass on their expertise to the next generation of lawyers.
