Summary This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Responsibilities You will conduct inventory and utilization surveys to ensure accurate data relating to real property inventory. You will assist in writing and editing policies and procedures related to accountable property. You will oversee/conduct Physical Property Inventory of all Installation Real Property. You will conduct Periodic Virtual Inventory of all Installation Real Property. You will complete Properly Record Changes to Function and Use of Existing Real Property. You will properly account for new Real Property Acquisition through Construction, Capital Improvements and Transfers-In of Real Property Assets. You will conduct/record Disposal of Real Property Including BRAC, Demolition, Sale of Transfers-Out of Real Property Assets. You will ensure compliance with all Financial Improvement Audit Readiness (FIAR) Processes. You will certify and justify Real Property Inventory and Real Property Inventory Changes. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Maintains and updates all land, building, structure, utility and relocatable property records for the Installation to reflect additions, deletions, and changes; 2) Ensures Real Property Information Requirements (RPIR) data elements and processes are implemented at the Installation; 3) Creates initial asset records for all Transfer and Acceptance; 4) Prepares and presents technical briefings, provides technical consultations, point papers and special reports to higher authorities; 5) Defines, identifies, researches and develops the data required for data calls by higher headquarters Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management web site: https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-standards/#url=List-by-Occupational-Series Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Education Additional Information This announcement uses the Certain Personnel of the DoD direct hire authority to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Several vacancies may be filled.
