Real World Evidence - Associate Director

Role overview

Recent years have seen the proliferation of speak Evidence (RWE), both in availability and importance. As early pioneers in this space, Ipsos has conducted over 100 global RWE studies enrolling 250,000+ participants over the past 3 years. Building on several years of growth, Ipsos has ambitious targets for the future – and this role will play a key part in helping us meet them. As an Associate Director, you will lead the team in the overall execution and delivery of a wide range of projects, both continuous and ad hoc, across a variety of clients and sectors.

What will I be doing?

These are the types of things you can expect to be doing during your day to day, although as Ipsos is a dynamic organisation , this may vary as different opportunities arise:

Taking a lead in account management with a focus on developing existing client relationships and getting involved in growing the business. Take active leadership for revenue generation and driving commercial success Working closely with clients to ensure you fully understand their business, motivations and the impact of your work. Along with a Director, you’ll lead sizeable project teams here in the UK. You will leverage your understanding of client evidence needs and experience of study design, approval and execution of RWE-NIS study methodologies to accelerate the development and commercialisation of Ipsos’ RWE-NIS offer (primary data collection and secondary database studies). You will be comfortable providing expert direction and working with a close-knit multi-disciplinary team that includes the Global Senior Vice President of RWE, Global RWE Commercial Development Director, Global Compliance Director, Chief Technology Officer, Chief Research Officer, Data Science & Analytics, and Marketing to develop, package and promote Ipsos’ RWE-RWE offer

Ipsos UK offers a hybrid working environment, 3 days in the office and working the rest from home. 

What do I need to bring with me?

Background :

Experience in Real World Data or Non-Interventional studies as well as the operations side of RWE. A Consulting background will also suite this role. A background in Epidemiology, public health or other related bachelor degree is also required. A Masters or PhD would be desireable. Proven experience of meeting client needs and managing client relationships. Experience of managing, developing and motivating individuals and teams. You have a strong understanding of different research methodologies and a passion for delivering insightful results You have contributed directly to revenue generation, e.g. by writing proposals and winning new business and/or developing client accounts You have experience with AI-Based Research Tools: Practical experience using AI-powered tools for research tasks, including data analysis platforms and automation tools.

Skills:

Solid research skills including questionnaire (eCRF) & study design, project processes, sampling and basic analytical techniques. Commercial outlook, understand client business and model our Client First behaviours You have strong numeracy skills and attention to detail Excellent time management skills and are able to work across multiple projects or tasks. Financial awareness: experience of proactively managing finances on projects and/or have had a core role in ensuring projects’ profitability You are proficient in data analysis software (SPSS, R) and Microsoft Office Suite Strong understanding of AI tools and technologies and how they can be applied to market research and consumer insights.
