This role will focus on marketing multiple devices, emphasizing how our products work together to tell a compelling ecosystem story, and working to establish long-term marketing strategies and key partnerships that define the future of Reality Labs and wearables / AI / AR more broadly. You will focus on building and executing forward-looking strategies (2-10 years) while identifying and capitalizing on market opportunities and consumer trends. With a complementary focus to existing day-to-day marketing teams, you will be responsible for ensuring that Reality Labs’ marketing initiatives remain visionary, adaptive to trends, and well-positioned for future growth. We're seeking someone who can work independently, influence teams across the organization, and work with internal marketing teams and agency partners to deliver their best work yet. Collaboration is key, and the ideal candidate will excel in cross-functional partnerships with Sales, Product Marketing, Product, Partnerships, Privacy, Creative, Media, Communications, and other key stakeholders. This role is integral to the RL Marketing team, contributing to the brand and success of a rapidly expanding organization. **Required Skills:** Reality Labs Portfolio Marketing Strategy Director Responsibilities: 1. Lead the development of long-term marketing strategies focused on AR/VR innovations and future market opportunities (2-10 years), ensuring alignment with Meta’s vision, product development and business goals. 2. Identify and establish strategic partnerships with key organizations, developers, and external stakeholders to drive the growth and adoption of Reality Labs’ wearable products. Through key marketing initiatives, build an ecosystem that supports product innovation and market leadership. 3. Partner with a team that tracks emerging consumer trends, market dynamics, and competitive shifts, translating these insights into actionable marketing and partnership strategies for Reality Labs. Ensure marketing strategies are informed by the latest consumer behaviors and technological advancements. Prioritize audience use cases, target markets, and key messaging for breakthrough innovations. 4. Lead cross-functional special projects, including naming and packaging strategies for emerging products, ensuring market competitiveness and consumer accessibility. 5. Build and nurture relationships with executive leadership and cross-functional teams, including Product, Product Marketing, and Communications, to ensure strategic alignment and successful execution of initiatives. 6. Build and mentor a team of strategic marketers and partnership leaders, fostering an environment of collaboration, foresight, and inclusion that drives both individual and organizational growth. **Minimum Qualifications:** Minimum Qualifications: 7. Bachelor's degree 8. 12+ years of experience in consumer marketing, with 5+ years of experience in a brand marketing role for consumer brands 9. 5+ years experience working on consumer technology brands/products/channels 10. 5+ years working on non-North American marketing efforts, whether based in North America or abroad 11. Experience leading fast growing, cross-functional teams, either formally through reporting structure or informally through influence 12. Experience working across marketing channels and influencing product and service experience 13. Experience developing brand strategy for world-renowned companies 14. Experience demonstrating the return of marketing investment in the short- and long-term **Preferred Qualifications:** Preferred Qualifications: 15.
