A Day in the Life:
As a Receivable Analyst at The Hertz Corporation, you will play a crucial role in managing our receivables and ensuring efficient financial operations. Your responsibilities will include reporting, collections on specialty accounts, receivables management, and addressing queries.
What You’ll Do:
· Manage and perform collection on specialty accounts.
· Establish collaborative relationship with accounts and various internal departments.
· Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable aging and collections status.
· Analyze data to identify trends and propose process improvements.
· Analyze, prepare, and distribute accurate monthly ad hoc reports.
· Monitor collection performance and ensure accounts are within terms.
· Research and perform necessary billing adjustments.
· Respond to customer inquiries regarding their accounts and payments.
· Streamline procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
We expect the starting salary to be around $50,000; the actual salary will be determined based on years of relevant work experience.
What We’re Looking For:
· General accounting knowledge.
· Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field (preferred) or equivalent experience
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products
· Intermediate to advance excel skills.
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to negotiate effectively and maintain positive relationships with customers.
· Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, generate reports, and identify trends.
· Proficiency in using collection software and tools.
· Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
· Detail-oriented approach and commitment to maintaining accurate records.
· Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and tact.
· Working knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, and Automation tools preferred
