Job Title: Receiving Clerk

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Receiving Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate and efficient receipt, inspection, and documentation of incoming shipments. You will play a crucial part in maintaining our inventory accuracy and ensuring the smooth operation of our material handling processes.

ResponsibilitiesReceive incoming shipments: Unload, inspect, and verify the contents of shipments to ensure accuracy against purchase orders.Inspection: Check for damaged items, discrepancies, or other issues, and report findings to the supervisor or purchasing team.Documentation: Accurately record all received items in the inventory management system, ensuring proper labeling and tagging of materials.Material handling: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment to transport items within the facility.Storage organization: Store materials in designated locations, ensuring efficient space utilization and easy access for production needs.Inventory management: Assist in cycle counting and physical inventory activities to maintain accurate stock levels.Communication: Coordinate with the purchasing, production, and quality assurance teams to resolve any discrepancies with shipments.Safety compliance: Follow all safety protocols and ensure the workspace is clean and organized, complying with OSHA and company regulations.Continuous improvement: Identify and suggest opportunities for process improvements in the receiving and inventory control processes.Essential SkillsExperience in an HVAC or manufacturing environment.1-2 years of experience in receiving, warehouse operations, or a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or HVAC-related industry.Familiarity with ERP systems (EPICOR is a plus).High school diploma or equivalent.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities.Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.Additional Skills & QualificationsKnowledge of HVAC systems or manufacturing processes is a plus.Why Work Here?

The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $52000.00/yr.
