Receiving Coordinator - 1st Shift
Job Information

Verifies materials received are as ordered and routes incoming items to appropriate departments/locations. Independent, self-starter with the ability to work inside and outside in all weather conditions to make the receiving process flow in a manufacturing environment.

Schedule for 1st Shift:   Monday - Thursday, 10 hour shifts.  6:00AM - 4:30PM.  Overtime hours may be scheduled on Fridays and mandatory based on business needs.  

 

Role & Responsibility

Unloads and receives incoming materials and compares information on packing slip with purchase order to verify accuracy of shipment; may process return shipments from customers. Sorts, counts, packages, labels, insures, unpacks, and/or logs inventory which is received. Inspects shipments for damages or defects; records discrepancies or damages and notifies appropriate person. Delivers items to requisitioning departments. Maintain department database Apriso and Oracle, prepare routine reports, and file receiving records. Operate dolly, pallet jack, and/or forklift in loading and unloading supplies and equipment; to deliver shipments; inside and outside in all weather conditions. Follows established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety, environmental, and/or infection control standards. Self-motivated, able to complete assigned tasks and understand a manufacturing flow.  Responsible for entering paperwork in Apriso and Oracle instances for receipts and inventory flow.  Performs miscellaneous job-duties as assigned.

Job Requirement Education Required: High School Diploma/Equivalent Ability to understand and maintain quality standards and read blueprints. Ability to understand and follow safety procedures Ability to understand lean manufacturing and 5S. Ability to receive, track, and distribute materials, supplies, and equipment. Ability to read, sort, check, count, and verify numbers. Ability to lift and manipulate heavy objects. Ability to logically detect and solve problems.   Knowledge of UPS/FEDEX shipping processes Ability to function in all weather-related conditions Ability to work independently and maintain proper protocol #CB #GD
