Hilton Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort is looking for Receiving Coordinator to join their team! This stunning 374 room hotel is located three miles from Las Olas Boulevard, offers a full-service spa, multiple dining options and also boasts an outdoor pool and private cabanas.
\nThe ideal candidate will be hardworking, able to work independently as well as part of a team, and possess 1–2 years of experience in purchasing. Experience with receiving goods, verifying that received items match invoices, and ensuring accurate deliveries is essential. This is a great entry-level opportunity in purchasing. Familiarity with SmartSpend and prior hotel industry experience are considered a plus.
\nPay Rate: $19.00 per hour.
\nShift Pattern: This is a full-time position which requires full availability to work varying shifts across weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

What will I be doing?
\nThe Receiving Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that all deliveries are to hotel specifications in accordance with purchase orders. The Receiving Coordinator is also responsible for the proper storing, handling and issuing of stock.
\n\nEnters all non-edible merchandise into the computer, noting the received status shortages and allother required information so all merchandise is accounted for. Prepares all outgoing records.\nNotifies person responsible for ordering merchandise when shipment arrives or if the shipment
fails to arrive so that any discrepancies can be resolved. Signs, dates and time stamps all
invoices on the respective receiving sheet, ensuring times are correctly identified.\nChecks each item on the invoice against the applicable hotel document, weighing, counting,
verifying prices on each item and checking these against specifications to verify accuracy of
delivery.\nFills requisitions to authorize outlets so all stock will be complete at each outlet and advises
supervisor of items that are low or out-of-stock so that they can be reordered.\nAssists Finance Team frequently with basic accounting/financial responsibilities and reports\nAssists in conducting month-end inventories.\nCross-trained on Storeroom Attendant role to assist on a weekly basis as needed. \n
