Job Title: Receiving Inspector

Job Description

As a Receiving Inspector, you will be responsible for receiving and inspecting all incoming deliveries of manufactured parts to ensure quality and order accuracy in accordance with established procedures. You will collaborate with the Material Review Board to identify issues and follow up with corrective actions as needed. Your role is crucial in maintaining the high standards that keep our customers flying safely.

ResponsibilitiesInspect incoming manufactured parts to determine conformance with specifications and released drawings with a high level of accuracy.Perform critical dimensional measurements using standard mechanical and electrical instruments and functional gauges.Interpret and read drawings and other types of specifications.Validate the certificate of conformance, process tags, rework or non-conforming tags, or other associated documentation.Actively participate on the Material Review Board for non-conforming parts disposition.Record and maintain inspection records per Quality Management System requirements.Assist Shipping/Receiving during high volume periods.Handle, feel and manipulate small objects.Occasionally lift and carry independently up to 50 lbs.Essential SkillsHigh school diploma/GED.Minimum two years receiving inspection experience.Experience with mechanical and electrical hand tools including measurement instruments.Proficiency with a wide range of drawings, blueprints, and standards.Proficiency with Microsoft Office.Strong attention to detail.Organized, focused, and results-oriented.Problem-solving with critical thinking and prioritizing skills.Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsRelevant experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus.Experience with the paperwork side of the job such as FAI's, final buy-off of parts, and material certifications.Understanding of PO requirements from customers and communicating with end customers as needed.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The work environment is a mix of production and office settings in a very nice facility. The position is on the 1st shift, working from 8:00 AM to 4:45 PM, Monday to Friday, with a 45-minute lunch break.

This is a Permanent position based out of Wichita, Kansas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $62400.00/yr.

PTO is offered 1 week for 1st year, then 2 weeks after.
