Ferguson is currently seeking a Receiving Manager to join our Valley View, OH Distribution Center team!
This position oversees a team of hourly associates working a 1st shift schedule beginning at 5:00 AM.
ResponsibilitiesSupervise and coordinate unloading and stocking of inbound shipments accuracy and timeliness with both product and paperworkEnsure warehouse space is used optimally and kept clean and orderlyProvide mentorship and direction to team members in proper receiving proceduresCommunicate with receiving clerks, HQ, and drivers regarding status of inbound deliveries and changes to receiving schedulesResearch and resolve issues involving purchase order and receiving documentsEnsure that all receiving documentation, freight claims, and correspondence with HQ are promptly completed with attention to detailPromote safe work practices and resolve all safety concerns as identifiedEstablish and communicate performance standards to associatesLead team in continuous improvement initiativesConduct counseling, mentoring, and performance appraisals as indicatedProvide recommendations for selection of new associates to join the teamParticipate in regular communication and meetings of DC leadership to coordinate shift activitiesQualificationsA strong background in warehouse operations and logisticsPrior management, supervisory or people leadership experiencePrior experience in a Warehouse Management or Warehouse Supervisor role, preferredReceiving/Inbound and inventory experience is strongly preferredA solid understanding of OSHA regulationsStrong interpersonal skills and ability to prioritize workload appropriately in order to balance multiple demands and meet timelines as requiredAt Ferguson, we care for each other. Pay Range:

$4,124.70 - $9,075.00-
Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
