Receiving Team Lead

The Receiving Team Lead is the first point of contact for all team members. The receiving team is responsible for receiving and organizing of all inventory in the warehouse from the “dock to rack”. They coordinate the receiving of inventory into the inventory management software and have it physically put away into each assigned location. The team lead will work directly with management on all special projects involving inventory organization, pulling and put away. They work with fellow department team leads to move inventory between departments within the warehouse.

3-5 years preferred Knowledge of warehouse operations procedures preferred Organizing and detailed record keeping of inventory Work both indoors and outdoors year-round, and climb on and off large equipment and trucks Organize and allocate personnel to areas of demand Receive items, enter into inventory management system and prepare for physical put away Organize inventory Oversee special projects and assignments Troubleshooting issues that come up while trying to scan and enter into WMS. (Unscanable, missing details, accounts not matching, quantity not matching, etc) Flexible and willing to perform other tasks as assigned
