**Overview**
Responsible for receiving of all medical supplies for hospital.
**Responsibilities**
+ Receiveandunpack materials and supplies against purchase orders (PO’s) for delivery
+ Prepareordersfor return-to-vendor shipment
+ Recordshipment data, including weight, charges, and space availability
+ Reportdamagesanddiscrepanciestorequest reimbursement or re-shipment
+ Maintainlogsofallshipments outgoing and incoming
+ Preparedaily production and volume reports in order to measure productivity and prepare billing charges
**Qualifications**
+ HighschoolDiploma or equivalent
+ 0-1yearexperience working in a shipping/receiving or professional office environment
+ Some knowledge of the job
+ Moderateunderstandingofgeneraljob aspects and some understanding of the detailed aspects of the job
+ Knowledge& application of domestic and international shipping carriers, customs, duties and shipping regulations as well as internal tools used (e.g., scanning equipment, hot- synching of scanners, internal database tracking system, dollies and carts)
+ Excellentcustomer service, professional attitude and appearance are a must
+ Ability to work overtime & meet deadlines
**PHYSICAL DEMANDS**
+ Ability to lift 40 lbs
+ Repetitive motion
+ Reaching,pushing, pulling carts weighing up to 250lbs
+ Walking, standing for extended periods of time
