The role
As a Reception Centre Manager, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary where you’ll be responsible for the delivery for all Reception Centre Services across Devonport Royal Dockyard.

 

Day-to-day, you’ll be responsible for the management and service delivery for all Devonport Royal Dockyard reception centres in line with the MOD reception centre contractual obligations.

 

To develop and implement processes with a view to continually improve bringing in efficiencies and effective outputs that are value for money.  Continually review the facility, collaboratively working together with the customer to ensure a professional and fit for purpose environment. Develop and maintain the strategic partnering relationship processes that under-pin the reception centres contract. Strive to meet the contractual KPI’s, presenting the detail in a clear vision with the improvement areas highlighted.

 

This role is full time, 35 hours per week and is based on site at Devonport Royal Dockyard. 

 

Essential experience of the Reception Centre Manager

Whilst experience in the security industry is certainly helpful, you may have worked in an arena, with relevant skills.  Understanding of information assurance responsibilities. Ability to write, develop coherent well advised analytical reporting. Strong leadership skills and the ability to deal with conflict. Experience in risk management. Knowledge of theory and practical aspects of security as applicable to a major company serving the public sector.  

 

Qualifications for the Reception Centre Manager

Management qualification (or relevant experience). Lean belt (Green) or experience of change management. Completed or willing to complete a range of Defence Information Systems Agency (DISA) training, security vetting, Detect Analyse Report Threats (DART) process, security and international visits.
 

Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
