Reception Team Lead

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:
We're seeking a Reception Team Lead to join our team. As a Reception Team Lead you will:

Consistently offer the highest level of personalized member customer service while maintaining a positive, enthusiastic and helpful attitude

Greet and welcome new fitness center members, assist with membership enrollment and front desk operations

Coordinate with Customer Service Manager to ensure accurate payroll

Respond to Member’s concerns, suggestions and complaints in a timely, professional and consistent manner.

Assist in recruiting, training, and developing the Reception Desk Team

Create reception team schedule within budget, approve time off requests

Develop excellent communication system for reception team

Assist members with membership change inquiries, program registration, program inquiries, purchasing personal training services

Keep the service desk clean and orderly and well-stocked with flyers, retail items, etc.

Update desk reference materials such as how to guides, emergency procedures, etc.

Fill in for shifts other than assigned when required

Other duties as needed

The Ideal Candidate would have: 

Experience in customer service and reception services

Proficiency in using computer software, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Email, Internet.

Exceptional organizational skills and be personable, professional, and hard-working

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to handle difficult situations and urgent matters

Highly developed written and verbal communication skills

CPR/FA certifications or ability to obtain certifications upon hire

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to verbally communicate with others.

In the office setting, this is primarily a sedentary role, which requires the employee to sit at a desk for consecutive hours at a time using a computer or other office equipment.

Additional physical requirements include occasional bending, crouching, reading and lifting.
