POSITION SUMMARY:
The Receptionist, Poker Room serves as the first point of contact for players entering the poker room. This role involves welcoming players, managing seating arrangements, maintaining accurate records, and providing exceptional customer service to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all guests.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Greet players warmly as they enter the poker room and provide information about available games, promotions, and events.
2. Answer player inquiries in person, over the phone, or through electronic communication.
3. Maintain and manage the player waitlist and seating arrangements for poker games.
4. Coordinate with poker supervisors and dealers to ensure tables are appropriately staffed and players are seated efficiently.
5. Register players for poker games, tournaments, or special events.
6. Accurately record player details, buy-ins, and other necessary information.
7. Inform players about current and upcoming promotions, tournaments, or membership programs.
8. Assist with distributing promotional materials and gathering player feedback.
9. Address and escalate player concerns or complaints to the Poker Supervisor when necessary.
10. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the poker room reception area
11. Performs other tasks as assigned by immediate superior

Tertiary level education is preferred
III. Skills / Competencies
1. Average computer skills and proficiency in MS Office applications such as word, outlook and excel.
2. Good communication and interpersonal skills are required. Must be proficient in verbal and written English; ability to speak/write in foreign language is an advantage.
