Receptionist

Luxor Nursing and Rehabilitation at Mills Pond is actively seeking a part time Receptionist to work the Friday overnight shift from 11 pm-7 am in our Long Term Care facility in Saint James, NY.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

Operate switchboard for Center in order to provide routine information and direct calls to appropriate areas and personnel in accordance with policy and procedureMonitor fire alarms and respond in accordance with policy and procedureDemonstrate excellent customer service skills.Ability to handle occasional pressure due to multiple calls, inquires, locating personnel, etcResponds to emergency calls following established protocolCommunicate effectively during routine and emergency situationsProvides assistance and guidance to visitors, directing them to various locationsEffectively communicate with all personnel and visitorsEnsure that the lobby is maintained in an orderly and clean mannerPerform duties in a safe mannerDemonstrate an attitude of cooperation and professionalism when dealing with peers and supervisorsWorking together,showing empathy, courteous communication, respect for othersPerform other related duties as required

Requirements Include:

High School diploma or equivalent educationPrevious receptionist experience preferredExcellent communication and organizational skills
