Description We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Receptionist/Front Desk Coordinator to join our client's nonprofit school in Poway. In this long-term contract role, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, ensuring smooth communication and providing administrative support to various departments. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to workforce development initiatives while maintaining efficient front desk operations. Responsibilities: • Greet and assist visitors, ensuring they feel welcomed and directing them to the appropriate personnel or resources. • Answer and manage inbound calls, providing accurate information or redirecting inquiries as needed. • Maintain appointment schedules, including coordinating meetings and managing calendars. • Support outreach efforts by helping organize job fairs, events, and presentations to promote workforce programs. • Collaborate with high schools, community organizations, and government agencies to foster partnerships and promote apprenticeship opportunities. • Coordinate the distribution of promotional materials such as flyers, advertisements, and mailings for recruitment purposes. • Handle file organization and documentation, including creating new files for students, instructors, and members. • Assist the marketing team in developing social media content and other materials to enhance program visibility. • Provide administrative support for special projects and initiatives led by management. • Facilitate tours of the training center for individuals and groups interested in apprenticeship programs.
