Enterprise Mobility has an immediate opening for a Receptionist based out of our administrative office in Birmingham, AL.
The Receptionist will welcome visitors and callers by greeting them, in person or on the telephone, and answer or refer inquiries. This person will direct visitors, maintain employee and department directories, and give information and directions. This is a great opportunity for someone who is dependable, friendly, and outgoing to be the first person in contact with our customers, vendors, and visitors. The ideal candidate would posses a positive attitude, excellent customer service skills, and professional demeanor.
The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday: 8am - 5pm CST
Responsibilities Manage a multi-line phone (30-40 incoming calls per hour) in an expedient and efficient mannerUpdate and maintain the switchboard manual and the Group/Regional phone listMaintain conference room calendars as well as lobby and conference room appearanceInteract with all levels of managementAnswer and direct phone calls to proper department/division/personGreet visitors in a friendly and professional manner; direct visitors to the proper department/division/person while maintaining appropriate logsMaintain proper security logs as policies and procedures dictateMaintain internal company listing of the directory and/or a hard copyMay perform or assist with other clerical duties as needed by various departmentsMay coordinate transportation or taxi service and complete department billing documents, as neededMay assist various departments with directing employees to meeting locationsMay assist with ensuring proper messages are activated on the phone systemMay create and post appropriate marquee signage/communication May schedule food vendors for facilitySeek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training and goal settingMaintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctualityPerform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
