WDAF-TV/Fox 4 in Kansas City is looking for a service-focused, motivated, and friendly part-time front desk Receptionist to work the morning shift (7:30a-1p, Monday-Friday) for our television station. Candidate should be professional, organized, and capable of juggling various tasks simultaneously. Job duties include interacting with station visitors, callers, clients, and other guests of the organization as well as providing administrative support to staff and management. + Greet clients, visitors, and guests; determine the purpose of each person’s visit and direct them accordingly. + Answers viewer questions and routes calls to appropriate departments when necessary + Responds to viewer emails and feedback + Takes phone messages for other personnel + Accepts and distributes daily mail and all packages from couriers and prepares outgoing mail and packages for pick-up. + Performs clerical functions as needed + Stocks coffee and breakroom supplies as needed + Performs other duties as assigned + Contact and distribute prize packages to winners Requirements & Skills + High School diploma + Fluency in English + Excellent communication skills, both oral and written + Organized, detail oriented and able to multi-task + Minimum one year experience in clerical support or administrative assistance, preferably in the sales or media fields + Proficiency with computers, telephones, copiers, scanners, fax machines, and other office equipment Nexstar Media Group, Inc.
