Description
We currently have a need for a Receptionist for a client of ours in the popular Twin Cities metro. The Receptionist will effectively meet, greet, and assist all building visitors on the phone or in person, provide first-level customer service and building security at the entrance, and perform various clerical tasks to support the building. The Receptionist will take work direction from the CEO and/or the Administrative Assistant or Administrative Coordinator.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
+ Greet persons entering building, determine nature and purpose of visit, and direct or request an escort to specific destinations.
+ Be familiar with daily building schedules and activities, and possess a general knowledge of current company events.
+ Request building visitors to sign in, issue a visitor’s nametag to enhance employee and building security.
+ Provide information about establishment such as location of departments or offices, employees within the organization, meeting locations, or services provided.
+ Independently handle requests and resolve issues with visitors.
+ Perform clerical tasks as requested to support various building departments and/or personnel.
+ Utilize database system to screen for unauthorized visitors, and to effectively authorize within the system to those visitors incorrectly flagged.
+ Monitor building security cameras, and facilitate package delivery.
+ Oversee front entrance area and effectively communicate with visitors waiting in lobby.
+ Ensure the security of the lobby area as well as the entrance to the building.
Requirements
Qualifications:
+ Previous clerical support and/or customer service experience is preferred.
+ Experience and/or demonstrated ability to effectively use a variety of computer programs.
+ High school diploma or GED equivalent.
