This includes answering busy, high volume phone calls, transferring the caller to the appropriate department/person and/or answering general patient questions. It will also include navigating our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system to find pertinent information to address patient needs. **This role can be flexible, to work any hours Mon - Friday between 8am-5pm up to 20 hours a week** **Responsibilities** + Provides quality administrative support to the Geriatric Solutions department. + Collaborates with other teams within HOV to assist with patient care needs. + Manages phone calls, emails, faxes, and visitors in a professional manner. + Adheres to all HIPPA guidelines/regulations. + Maintains and enhances professional skills. + Adheres to high standards of personal and professional conduct and prioritizes workflow effectively. + Assists with all administrative tasks as needed. **Minimum Qualifications** + Minimum two years multi-line phone and administrative support experience. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. + Exceptional customer service and phone skills to interact with others in a pleasant, helpful, and cooperative manner. + Solution driven, creative and resourceful problem-solving skills. + Outstanding critical thinking skills – resolves issues before they escalate. + Ability to manage time well and perform assigned duties with attention to detail, accuracy and follow-through. + General knowledge of medical terminology. **Preferred Qualifications** + Previous medical office/healthcare experience, preferred.
