Mitie has a great opportunity for a Receptionist to join an existing Mitie Technical Services contract. The internally titled Concierge Team represents a crucial interface with our customers and should demonstrate an understanding of the business and build relationships with all the key business personnel. The core responsibility will be to ensure that the Reception is managed to enable customers to perform their business activities in a safe and fully functioning environment.
The successful candidate will be promoting and enhancing the workplace experience, delivering a safe and compliant environment. To assist in the delivery of first class soft service experience through an attentive and personalised approach to customers,as well as supporting daily functions such as meeting room bookings, guest check-ins, written correspondence and general administrative duties.
Main Duties
Act as a first contact for visitors, ensuring they are greeted and directed accordingly Ensuring the Reception environments are clean, tidy and presentable for visitors, so the visitor experience is the “First person to have been welcomed that day” Manage new and existing meeting room bookings via emails and the meeting room system within a busy and dynamic environment Manage correspondence on behalf of the Concierge team including emails and direct chat groups with clients and customers, ensuring a high standard of accuracy and detail Act as a brand ambassador for the client Consider the guest journey at all times and always be one step ahead to deliver the highest standard of service Support the security and FM teams during planned and unplanned evacuations Ensure visitors to the site receive the appropriate site induction regarding Health and Safety practices and fire exits Direct first aid calls accordingly Ensure professional service is delivered to client in accordance with the KPI's for the Concierge service delivery Uphold exemplary standards in personal grooming, adhering to uniform standards consistently Develop excellent working relationships with on site customers and service users
What we are looking for
Previous experience of working in a similar multitasked environment via a multi-skilled workforce to blue chip organisations or within prestige environments with a strong focus on customer service (experience within a Front of House or Events Management role would be advantageous) GCSE (or equivalent) in English Language at grade 4/C or above Strong technical, computer and systems knowledge and experience is essential. Competency using Google Suite systems is advantageous Excellent customer service and communication skills A strong understanding of the importance of working as a team To present a smart and courteous manner at all times A proactive attitude and the ability to work on own initiative Have the ability to plan, organise and prioritise workload to meet customer demands and be flexible to customer needs Ability to keep a calm and professional manner when dealing with our clients Excellent organisation, taking a detail oriented and hands on approach Ability to work within tight deadlines A highly customer focused individual with a ‘can do' attitude, confident manner and be competent to support customers The role holder will be smart, presentable and have exceptional personal hygiene.
