Receptionist - Contingent / Madison Heights

General Summary:
Performs receptionist functions for assigned areas.
Responsibilities:
Receives, screens, routes and responds to incoming telephone calls.
Takes accurate messages and ensures timely delivery.
Greets guests and provides appropriate assistance and information.
Performs additional clerical duties as assigned.
This position supports the information desk in the hospital providing coverage call ins, PTO requests, Weekends, and Holidays.
Rotating Work Schedule - Shifts will vary within the hours of 4:45 am -7 pm
Most shifts will between 6:45 am - 7:00 pm (8-hour shifts)
Required Weekends and Rotating Holiday Shifts
Requirements:
+ High School diploma equivalency
+ 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required . *Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
Preferred Skills:
3 Years of Customer Service Experience
6 Months of Hospital or Physician Office Experience
Flexibility in work schedule
Ability to work in a team setting.
