Position Overview:

The Medical Receptionist plays a key role in ensuring a smooth and efficient flow of patients through check-in, treatment, and check-out processes. This position serves as the primary point of contact for all non-clinical patient services. Your warm smile and positive energy will greatly contribute to the vibrant atmosphere at our DeSoto clinic.

Job Duties:

Greet patients and provide outstanding customer serviceAnswer phonesElectronic schedulingData entryVerify current personal and financial informationMaintain patient charts and electronic medical recordsVerify insurance benefitsManaging insurance authorizationsProcessing payments, working accountsFaxing, filing, and perform any other duties as assigned

 Qualifications: 

High school graduate or equivalentMust have 1+years of previous medical front office experienceExcellent telephone skillsProficient in Word and ExcelPrevious experience with medical software preferredAvailable and flexible with your hoursClose attention to detailGreat time management and organizational skills Team player attitude and energetic with a focus on excellent customer service
