Marvin is hiring for a full-time Receptionist/HR Clerk to work on-site at our Baker City, Oregon location. The regular schedule for this position will be Monday through Friday 7:30am—4:00pm with a half hour lunch (or 8:00am—4:30pm).

Highlights of your role

The Receptionist / HR Clerk who will wear many hats, including:

Providing excellent customer service to our visitors and employees by greeting visitors, taking messages, and routing calls. Completing routine administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, scanning, making copies, and creating graphs and reports. Working with employee personnel files while maintaining a high degree of confidentiality.Manage the Learning Management System (LMS) including transitioning training records into new system and working with L&D team to implement and maintain new workflows. Manage LMS user and courses in the system, support learners, track learner progress, and generate reports. Train and assist leader and employees with LMS function. Communicate with management on LMS capabilities and limitations and advocate for its benefits.  Maintaining our communication outlets, including posting to our digital media monitors throughout the plant, preparing weekly slides for monitors, and posting content to social media outlets.Handling cash accounts, including balancing and reporting. Light housekeeping duties, such as tidying up our lunchrooms, keeping office supplies stocked, and handling our mail. Compensation $19.40/Hr - $22.00/Hr You're a good fit if you have (or if you can) A High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).One to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Proficiency with a computer and 10-key. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, and Excel spreadsheets; and experience creating graphs/charts. Excellent customer service and conflict management skills.
