Receptionist - London

The Role:
A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen in our busy London office for an experienced and methodical office-based receptionist to help and support our client focused team. This is a full-time position with split duties between manning our busy reception and administrator support for various teams.

As the front of house, it`s vital that you embrace our passion for customer service, professionalism and have the ability to work on your own initiative as well as within a team with the other receptionist. Our work is varied, so you may be incredibly busy one day, quiet the next whereby you`ll take on more administrative duties.


Additionally, you`ll hold the following responsibilities:

Organising, prioritising and delegation of reception tasks as required, ensuring an efficient and effective reception service to the London office.

Greeting and making our visitors welcome and directing them appropriately.

Booking visitors and contractors with ground floor security via Vicinitee.

Assisting visitors/colleagues with broadband and network connections, reporting of faults of any meeting rooms, office equipment, air-con etc and taking ownership of resolving any issues.

Ensuring the office Health and Safety Manual is kept up to date and all actions recorded.

Full management of meeting rooms: Bookings, refreshments, catering & equipment.

Submitting invoices for catering, milk etc.

Handling and distribution of all incoming and outgoing post, courier deliveries, etc (including scanning of all incoming post).

Management and distribution of office stationery, ensuring the correct levels are maintained, monitoring quantity, quality and cost.

Liaising with the Facilities Manager as required.

Responsible for answering incoming calls via Genesys directing calls to appropriate associates.

Provides general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks.

Assisting colleagues with Condeco desk booking and creating new profiles.

Overseeing cleaning staff

Implementing safety rules and guidelines to keep colleagues and visitors safe.

Offering suggestions for visiting staff concerning restaurants, hotels, transport .

About you:

Already experienced in a similar role, you`ll be the forefront of our London office and have the following:

Previous reception experience with similar responsibility in a dual role is essential.

Excellent presentation skills, be highly organised and customer focused.

Experience in dealing with general enquiries in a positive and professional manner.

The ability to work within a team environment.

Have a highly professional telephone manner.

Must be able to use initiative without referral.

Ability to operate a switchboard, although training will be provided for the right candidate.

Excellent administration skills with the ability to multitask.

Computer literate, including Microsoft Excel.
