As a Receptionist, you will be the first contact for callers at the Northern Rivers phone number and for visitors and will provide excellent customer service to employees, clients, and the general business community who interact with our agency. You will direct phone calls to appropriate agency staff and perform routine clerical and administrative functions such as drafting correspondence, scheduling appointments, organizing and maintaining paper and electronic files, copying, scanning, faxing, and handling packages. You will report to the Finance Coordinator and work onsite.
Responsibilities:
Greet visitors and vendors, handle their inquiries, and direct them to the appropriate person according to their needs while maintaining security at the worksite. Answer telephones and give information to callers; take messages or transfer calls to appropriate individuals. Operate office equipment such as phone system, fax machine, copier, scanner, use postage / parcel mailing machine, and use computers for simple spreadsheet maintenance, word processing, database management, and other applications. Maintain paper and electronic filing systems for records, correspondence, and other material. Receive, manage and organize mailroom for all incoming and outgoing packages and mail for the agency.Requirements and Education: A High School diploma or equivalent and at least six months to one year of related experience.
