Chemours is seeking a **Reclamation / Heavy Equipment Operator** to join our growing **Minerals Operations Reclamation** team! This position will report directly to Christopher Adkins at our Florida location. **The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:** + Ensure all work is performed within company, state, and federal regulations, standards, statutes, policies, and procedures. + Safely and efficiently operates various pieces of mobile heavy equipment including bulldozers, tracked excavators, off-road haul trucks, and wheeled loaders. + Act as a Safety Leader to ensure individual and team Safety remain top priority in the planning and execution of all tasks. + Receive and execute written or oral instructions regarding material movement, contouring, compaction, or excavation. + Ensure operation of equipment is within machine capabilities and limitations. + Communicate effectively and professionally with other team members. + Work closely with Company Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) personnel targeting zero incidents and continuous improvement of mine site EHS performance. + Continuous improvement in mining approach, encourage initiatives intended to reduce safety risk, increase productivity, improve efficiency, and reduce operating cost. + Clean heavy equipment as scheduled and ensure a high standard of housekeeping is maintained in all assigned work areas. + Maintain knowledge of safe work practices and procedures.
