Reconciliation Analyst- Patient Service Center

Position Summary:

Monitors cash flow balances and bank reconciliation items for each UT Physicians clinic location and bank.

Position Key Accountabilities:

1. Monitors and identifies bank and general ledger items to ensure they are in balance.  Confirms all clinic activity is correctly posted to the system.  Requests and submits discrepancies, and obtains supporting documentation from the clinics.2. Monitors clinic processes to ensure batches are scanned in a timely manner.3. Informs the appropriate business partner (clinic, general accounting or UT Physician finance) regarding how to make corrections in the system or with the bank.4. Performs Cash Handling Training for new hires and the Refresh Cash Handling Training for exiting front desk staff.5. Performs quarterly workflow review of UT Physicians clinics to ensure cash handling policies and procedures are being followed.6. Monitors clinics and ensures that they are following policies and procedures on the cash/check deposit in a timely manner for UT Physicians clinics. 7. Performs other duties as assigned.  

Certification/Skills:

Proficient in Microsoft Office (including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power point), Databases, and Internet.

Minimum Education:

Associates degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Minimum Experience:

Three years related experience; may substitute required experience with equivalent years of education beyond the minimum education requirement.

 

Physical Requirements:

Exerts up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds frequently and/or a negligible amount constantly to move objects.

Residency Requirement:

Employees must permanently reside and work in the State of Texas.
