Reconciliation-Senior Associate (Assistant Manager)

We are looking for ambitious and career oriented graduates with good analytical skills and conversant with Reconciliation concepts & numbers. The main function of the role is to ensure accurate reconciliation of client portfolios vs custody / fund accounting records and operationally support all Investment Management teams in their respective roles.

 

The successful candidate must demonstrate continues improvement mindset, be a strong, decisive, results oriented individual who can develop and manage relationships across the company and with a wide variety of partners, based on trust, teamwork, and knowledge.

 

What you will be responsible for,

· As a senior associate (Team Leader / Assistant Manager), you be responsible for

· Ensuring all daily cash and security reconciliations are completed accurately for self and the team.

· Act as the liaison between portfolio management teams, custodians, brokers and clients.

· Reconcile portfolios and resolve all discrepancies in a timely manner.

· Drive timely and accurate resolution across various Data management issues like Feed issue, Major incidents etc.

· Drive & Support change initiatives and Transformation projects impacting / involving Enterprise Reconciliations.

· Manage stakeholder queries effectively.

· Ensure 100% quality/accuracy for self and the team.

· Collaborate closely with various stakeholders including IT team, Business teams, DAG teams and external parties.

· Continuously improve the data acquisition and static maintenance process by transforming the process utilizing ETL tools and self-serviceable tools.

· Ensure prompt tracking & reporting of errors & incidents.

· Lead team/s for specific set of Business units/clients. Own KPI, KRI & OKR's for your respective group.

· Responsible for people management, appraisals etc.

 

What we value

· Extensive asset management experience, including investment operations, reconciliations and fund accounting.

· Strong critical thinking, problem solving, and decision making skills

· Hands-on experience with reconciliation tools like TLM/TLP/IDC/IntelliMatch.

· Strong communication and presentation skills to audiences of different sizes and levels of seniority

· Must be self-motivated, adaptable and show initiative in different circumstances and under pressure

· Good team working skills and Flexibility in working outside of your responsibilities and areas of expertise

 

Education & Preferred Qualifications:

· MBA finance / B.com as an educational qualification

· Experience 6 - 8 years. Experience in Cash & Position Reconciliations, Data Acquisition group, TLM/TLP, Intellimatch, IDC will be an added advantage.

· Profound knowledge of multiple asset classes and their life cycles.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

· Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

· Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.

· Acute sense of ownership and ability to work with various levels within the organization

· Ability to actively participate and drive transformation projects and add value to the organization

· Ability to multi-task.

· Flexible to work across APAC, EMEA and NAM shifts
