Job Profile Summary Description

forward. The Record to Account Lead (RTA) ensures the Management Accounting, Treasury
& General Finance teams are providing accurate and timely financial accounting
& reporting. The RTA Lead is a critical link in the
financial reporting chain, ensuring that financial data is accurately
recorded, processed, and reported, ultimately contributing to informed
decision-making within the organisation.
Principal Accountabilities
Provide the Finance Delivery Lead with assurance on the seamless running within Management Accounting, Treasury & General Finance
Support the Management Accountant Lead, Treasury Accountant & General Finance Analyst Lead to drive operational, continuous improvement, business objectives and strategic initiatives
Developing, implementing, improving, and enforcing budgets, policies, and department controls to increase accuracy and efficiency
Building and maintaining relationships with employees and the wider business
Maintaining strong relationships with Finance Business Partners to answer business queries
Oversee timely and accurate month-end and year-end close and ensuring compliance to standards
Oversee accurate balance sheet reconciliations, journals, PABs and audit trails
Collaborate and liaise with key stakeholders throughout the forecasting and budgeting process
Oversee headcount analysis and overhead allocation to report to wider business
Commitment to ethical behaviour with a willingness to adhere to all company policies and current financial legislation
Promote a culture of data integrity – ensure accurate and complete employee, financial and supplier records
Custodial of all reporting from the team
