Recovery and Resolution Planning (RRP) Core Team – Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Associate to join the RRP Core team within the Controllers Division, to assist with the coordination and production of the firm’s global and local RRP deliverables.

 

The RRP Core Team is responsible for setting the strategy for, planning, and coordinating the firm’s global and local RRP deliverables. The team also has responsibility for running the assurance framework across our RRP capabilities and is the first point of call for regulatory enquiries relating to RRP globally.

 

Controllers are a diverse team of specialists charged with ensuring that the firm meets all the financial control and reporting obligations of a global, regulated, and public financial institution. Our professionals measure the profitability of, and risks associated with, every aspect of the firm's business. Controllers also ensure that the firm's activities are conducted in compliance with the regulations governing transactions in the financial markets.

 

Responsibilities include: 

Assisting with the coordination of and review of input into the firm’s RRP deliverables from stakeholders across the firm, ensuring consistency and qualityAuthoring Core Team owned sections of the firm’s RRP deliverablesParticipating in RRP assurance exercisesCoordination of responses to RRP related regulator enquiriesContributing to the RRP Core Team’s broader deliverables as required

 

The role would be suited to an individual with a capital or liquidity background. Previous RRP knowledge / experience is desirable, but not essential, but we are looking for a candidate with the following attributes:

 

Organizational / project management skills:  ability to work with a federated team of 100+ individuals across multiple divisions within the firm to plan and execute on the firm’s RRP deliverablesCommunication skills: ability to communicate clearly and concisely at various levels of seniorityControl mindset: ability to maintain and develop a robust control and governance framework around the firm’s RRP deliverablesTechnical competence: aptitude to understand, interpret and implement RRP regulatory rulesets and guidanceAnalytical skills: ability to review and challenge financial projections included in the recovery and resolution plansWriting skills: the ability to produce documentation to meet regulatory submission standards, and to critically review materials prepared by other areas
