REMOTE POSITION-CANDIDATES MUST RESIDE IN MD, DC, PA, VA OR WVA   JOB SUMMARY: The Recovery Specialist is responsible for a variety of functions including accurately reviewing and/or correcting medical billing data for claims submission to insurance companies; resolving TES registration and billing edits; resolving BAR claim edits; resolving payer rejections; updating patient demographic/insurance information in the host system; follow-up on unpaid claims; researching and pursuing reimbursement for claims that were denied or did not receive contracted payment; filing appeals according to payer guidelines. Displays the ability to be flexible, multi task, and perform a variety of duties as requested by Management.
