Wage - $17.20 per hour

Schedule – Part Time - Wednesday, Friday, Saturday – evenings

Store position schedule - Friday, Saturday, Sunday - evenings

What you will be doing: You’ll be responsible for monitoring, planning, and directing students engaged in center sponsored activities both on and off center. Put your fun and creative skills to use to teach healthy and fun extracurricular activities! 

Essential functions: 

Primary functions for the Recreation Store position

- Assist customers (students and staff) with locating and purchasing items.

- Operate cash registers, handle transactions, and provide correct change.

- Restock shelves and ensure merchandise is organized and displays are maintained.

- Monitor inventory levels and report low-stock items to management.

- Ensure store cleanliness, including tidying shelves and sweeping floors.

- Follow store policies and maintain security of merchandise.

- Assist with opening and closing procedures of the store.

- Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer inquiries.

-Work in conjunction with SGA coordinator as needed for various classes, events, etc.

Plan, implement and coordinate a diversified program that will attract voluntary participation.  Chaperone students to recreation functions both on and off center.  Plan and conduct various activities to enhance student retention and meet all students' needs.  Participate in Career Development Services System (CDSS) by creating positive peer leadership and role modeling techniques through activities both on and off center. 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or equivalent required One (1) years experience working with youth required Excellent written and verbal communication skills and computer proficiency Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
