Summary Who: USAG Daegu, South Korea Child and Youth Services What: USAG Daegu, South Korea Youth Workforce Preparation Program Hiring Fair When: February 4th at 1400-1600, and February 5th at 1500-1700 Where: Teen Center building #257 Why: Please pick up a packet at Youth Center building #252. Responsibilities Under close supervision, performs a variety of simple, routine duties in a recreation or recreational sports program. Prepares sports and other recreational areas for games or events. Duties may include setting up equipment such as soccer nets, game boards, or accessories such as bats, balls, or racquets; marking fields with flags or chalk lines; or assisting with participant check-in/registration. May serve as a scorekeeper, game monitor, clock operator, or helper to coaches or recreation leaders. Performs other closely-related duties as assigned. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications No experience required. Education This position does not have an education requirement. Additional Information These positions are: CYS Youth Workforce WPP Position is temporary not to exceed 12 weeks from the effective date of employment, and up to 10 guaranteed hours per week. Effective start date 1 APRIL 2025 Not to exceed 10 hours per week. Located at various CYS Services Facilities within USAG Daegu and Is funded by the Installation Management Command, G9, Youth Workforce Preparation Program (WPP). The WPP focuses on Youth career development through a developmental program designed to provide on the job work experience and a training plan that include a website for the participants to maximize the career exploration experience. The website offers an interest survey where participants may learn about different careers that match their current interests and talents. Participants will also have an opportunity to identify additional training or college requirements for the different careers they may have an interest in exploring. Overall, the WPP will provide participants with support and guidance in improving their employability skills. The Job Fair is held Tuesday, 4 February 1400-1600, and Wednesday, 5 February 1500-1700 at Teen Center building #257. The following must be presented at the job fair: Job Application Resume(s) Copy of social security card and Copy of photo/visa page of passport ***No electronic applications will be accepted.*** Please dress professionally and come prepared with a copy of your resume, passport (first page) and page with SOFA stamp (or entry slip), PCS orders and Social Security Card.
