Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service in a fast paced environment to ensure all customers and co-workers are treated respectfully. Be an enthusiastic problem solver. Ensure all certifications stay current and attend all required courses and in service training required by Fort Bliss and MWR. Manage staff according to availability, schedules and shifts to provide the best coverage and budget intentions according to season, events, and daily operations. Help with the planning and execution of weekly and monthly in-service trainings. Take immediate response on all maintenance needs by notifying the supervisor or pool operator on duty or calling in a work order if needed and document in logbook. Must have at least one (1) year experience as a lifeguard in an aquatic environment. 2. Must have or be willing to obtain Water Safety Instructor (WSI) and Lifeguard Instructor (LGI) within one (1) year. FWS Allowances and Differentials Pay-Band (NF or CY) Allowances and Differentials This is a pay-banded position. Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. If authorized, only regular (full-time, part-time, limited tenure and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay. When authorized, Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday).
