Summary This position is for Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation (FMWR) at Fort Drum, New York. FMWR includes Child and Youth Services, Business Recreation, and Support Services, which enable Soldier readiness, support the resiliency and well-being of Soldiers and Families. Responsibilities Assists in planning, marketing, and conducting an ongoing program to provide conditioning programs for facility users. Instructs in the proper conditioning and training for aerobic and muscular fitness, and flexibility. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Qualified candidates will possess the following: work experience monitoring/executing/managing a basic physical fitness program, AND a Fitness or Personal Trainer Certificate (must provide to the Human Resources Office no later than 7 days from receiving a Tentative Job Offer and PRIOR to receiving an Official Job Offer). Sunday premium and Night Differential pay have NOT been authorized by the Garrison Commander or the Collective Bargaining Agreement for Flexible positions with no guaranteed hours. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. Non-Foreign Overseas Allowances A nonforeign area allowance or differential is not granted to employees in payband levels NF-1 and NF-2 since their rates already are based on the prevailing rate.
