This position is located at the USAG Benelux, DFMWR, Chievres Fitness Center, Chievres AB, Belgium. Responsibilities Assists the Facility Manager in the overall operation of a fitness facility. Circulates among patrons to assure service is satisfactory: provides information and general instruction on the use of equipment, facilities, and machinery. Assists in setting up for instructors, contractors, events, athletic activities, and related functions. Performs facility cleanliness. Provides conditioning programs for Chievres Fitness Center facility users. Instructs proper conditioning and training for aerobic and muscular fitness and flexibility. Assist in the planning markets and conducts an ongoing physical fitness program. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Demonstrated work experience that enables the candidate to independently carry out a basic physical fitness program. Valid Fitness or Personal Trainer Certificate REQUIRED. Highly Desirable: Prior experience in a Military Fitness and/or Community center planning, organizing, or setting up recreational sports activities, family special events or fun runs in a fitness center or community recreation center. Pay-Band (NF) Allowances and Differentials Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander.
