Summary This position is located at Ft. Bliss Youth Sports and Fitness. This announcement may be used to fill additional vacancies throughout the program. Responsibilities Required to inspect the playing surface before a contest to ensure that it is properly configured and that there are no safety hazards. Enforce the rules before and during games. Responsible for ensuring that the sports is played safely. Place the welfare of players above all else. Required to be positive role model in behavior during games. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications 1. Substantial knowledge of the rules of the sport to be officiated as evidenced by documented training sessions or seminars that instructed specific rules and regulations, or extensive experience coaching and/or playing the sport which would have provided the same level of knowledge or 2. Possession of a valid license or recognized national association credential or certificate for sports officials. *3.
