Job Description

 

To provide a warm, welcoming, aesthetically pleasing atmosphere while exceeding guest expectations by providing professional activity and recreation assistance and facilitationTo coordinate, implement, and provide entertainment during guided tours, specials events, etc.To also assist with supply and equipment organization, cleanliness and activity facilitation Responsibilities Report to work on time an in uniform when scheduled Enthusiastically greet and converse with guests Promote all programs - including daily activities, just for families, and holiday programsMaintain clear communication with essential departments Actively participate in the assurance of the safety and fun of all programs Assist with general resort duties as assigned Treat everyone, managers, associates and guests with courtesy and respect at all times Become efficient with the Point of Sales and reservation systemAssist with routine cleaning of all recreation areas and equipment (sweeping, mopping, picking up, organizing and keeping track of inventory) Cross utilize in all areas of recreation when scheduled to do so (retail, tours, pools, etc.)Complete daily checklists in their entirety Properly complete recreation waivers
Deck AttendantUsing a hose, rinse off the deck space daily Monitor the cleanliness of the deck space Organize the lounge chairs in an orderly fashion Maintain the lounge chairs with weekly cleaning Maintain the equipment used to clean the deck Update the details of the weather board (sunrise, sunset, temperature, etc) Respectfully assist guests Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the information huts Responsible for setting the umbrellas up Collect deck litter and remove full trash bins Appropriately organize the towels in the huts as needed Retail StoreProperly check guests in and outAppropriately organize the retail space Provide property-wide information to all guests Greet guests immediately with undivided attention Upsell retail items Promote recreational activities Maintain the cleanliness of the space

 

Group RecreationImplement planned agendas and activitiesWork closely with Group Recreation Managers and Supervisors Independently run programs Professionally represent the department and be a professional point person for group contactsOfficiate tournaments Learn the charging procedures of corporate group programs Qualifications
