Job Description
Responsible for leading, directing and controlling children while at Kids Camp.
Responsibilities Responsible for maintaining a safe environment for the children involved in Kids CampResponsible for carrying out the proper sign-in and sign-out procedures.Responsible for helping the children carry out the day's activities and crafts. Before the day begins, you will need to understand your role in the day's activities.Energetically involved in the camp's activities.Maintain a neat, clean professional appearance.Enthusiastically greet and converse with guestsMaintain clear communication with essential departmentsActively participate in the assurance of the safety and fun of all programsAssist with general Resort duties as assignedTreat everyone, managers, associates and guests with courtesy and respect at all timesAssist with routine cleaning of all recreation areas and equipment (sweeping, mopping, picking up, organizing and keeping track of inventory)Cross utilize in all areas of recreation when scheduled to do soComplete daily checklists in their entiretyProperly complete recreation agreements as needed using a hose, rinse off the deck space dailyMonitor the cleanliness of the deck spaceOrganize chairs in an orderly fashionMaintain the lounge chairs with weekly cleaningMaintain the equipment used to clean the deckRespectfully assist guestsCollect deck litter and remove full trash binsPerform other duties as assignedAttend all required safety training Qualifications Must have excellent customer service skillsAbility to work with guests of all agesPrevious child care experience preferredCPR/First Aid/AED holder preferred,or ability to obtain certificationMust have flexible schedule, work weekends and holidaysTrust Line certification preferredPrior experience preferred
Physical Requirements
Must be able to work outside in extreme weather conditions and around poolStand and walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift. (Required for client site tours, event days, etc.)Move, bend, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 20 pounds without assistance.
Pay: $17/hour. The pay scale provided is a range that Omni Hotels & Resorts reasonably expects to pay. Actual compensation offered may fluctuate based on a candidate’s qualifications and/or experience.
