Recruiter
AHRC Suffolk
The Recruiter with the support of the Director of People Experience will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the agency.
· Reviews the new job descriptions and provides feedback
· Implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards
· Creates and monitors job postings for respective departments.
· Verifies candidates meet qualifications and conducts screening for open roles and creates candidate pipeline.
· Schedules interviews: provides hiring manager with all documentation and follows through until a decision is received.
· Conducts background, reference checks, and all onboarding documentation.
· Utilizes and manages the Applicant Tracking System through the HRIS.
· Stays current on recruitment trends and best practices.
· Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, regulations, and company policies.
· Participates in job fairs and other recruitment events to develop community partnerships.
Requirements
+ Bachelor’s degree or 4+ year’s experience applicable work experience.
+ Prior internship or work experience in Human Resources preferred.
+ Extensive working knowledge of all Microsoft Programs, Human Resources Information Systems or Applicant Tracking Systems.
