EXP is looking a Recruiter / Talent Acquisition Specialist for our US team working in our Chicago office in a hybrid work environment.  This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has a true passion for recruitment and who thrives in a fast-paced, growing environment. As a Recruiter at EXP, you will be responsible for executing strategic sourcing plans to create talent pipelines for technical and professional engineering staff. In this role you must be skilled at mining talent pools, navigating employment landscapes, and executing sourcing strategies to find the right talent.  This position will work as part of a North American team of recruiting professionals with a focus on filling positions across the United States.

  

What a day at EXP has in store for you

 Develop recruiting and sourcing strategies to generate candidate flow and talent pipeline requirements

Proactively identify and cold call candidates to build a talent pipeline Participate in full-cycle recruitment including: Partnering with business leaders and HR Managers to develop job postings Creating sourcing strategies Establishing and developing interview questions, pre-screening applicants as well as participating on interview panels Conducting reference checks and negotiating terms of employment agreement Develop and maintain a network of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates including but not limited to; social media, colleges, universities and professional associations Identify emerging recruitment trends and provide recommendations for innovative search strategies Develop and foster strong relationships with internal hiring managers by leveraging excellent communication skills Foster strong relationships with diverse professional engineering organizations, and associations to attract and build candidate networks Maintain all supporting recruitment records Other duties as assigned

 

What your experience looks like

Minimum 2 years’ experience in full lifecycle recruitment Experience in the Engineering or Construction Industry is preferred Bachelor's degree in Business or related degree (Preferred) Proven track record working in a high volume recruitment setting Prior experience in a third party staffing firm (preferred) Experience with an applicant tracking system (Oracle Cloud Preferred) Experience with sourcing tools such as LinkedIn and HireEZ  Passionate about being a subject matter recruitment expert Ability to attend Campus Recruitment events required Ability to develop strong working relationships at all levels Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Strong research, networking and sourcing skills Excellent organizational skills, with proven ability to manage multiple searches Valid Drivers License Required

The hourly rate for this role is $28.00 to $35.00 an hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the candidate's skill set, experience, certifications, and geographic location. Compensation may vary by location due to differences in the cost of labor.
