WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
As a member of the recruiting team, the Recruiting Assistant is responsible for assisting the Recruiters in the strategic design, development, and management of the recruiting effort.
WHERE YOU’LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAM
This is a temporary full-time ~6-month position beginning around August 2025.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Coordinate logistics for Consultant/Summer Associate and/or Associate Consultant/Associate Consultant Intern recruiting events such as 1:1 candidate/Bainie interactions (“coffee chats”), interview preparation sessions (“case prep”), dinners, interviews, offeree events, etc.Handle communication and correspondence with consulting staff and recruits on a regular basis, including but not limited to RSVP management, finding backfills for events, etc.Assist with interview day logistics (virtual and in person); this includes managing pre-interview communications, managing online and/or in-person trouble-shooting with technology teams, greeting students and escorting them to interviews for in person interviews, preparing for and participating in post-interview debrief session, completing post interview tasks and offer tasks, etc.Work with program management and consulting staff to find last-minute backfills for recruiting events as neededAssist in the planning and execution of welcome weekend logisticsAssist with recruit expense reimbursement management using ReimbiUtilize applicant tracking system for data entry, event management and reportingAssist with other administrative duties related to recruiting as required (i.e. creating nametags and table cards)

U.S. Compensation Information
Compensation for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, 401(k) plan with an annual employer contribution based on years of service and Bain’s best in class benefits package (details listed below).
Some local governments in the United States require a good-faith, reasonable salary range be included in job postings for open roles. The estimated annualized compensation for this role is as follows:
In Chicago, IL state, the good-faith, reasonable annualized full-time salary range for this role is between $47,500 - $56,500; placement within this range will vary based on several factors including, but not limited to experience, education, licensure/certifications, training and skill level
For all other locations, the good-faith, reasonable annualized full-time salary range for this role is commensurate with competitive geographic market rates for this role and will vary based on several factors including, but not limited to experience, education, licensure/certifications, training and skill level
Annual discretionary performance bonus
This role may also be eligible for other elements of discretionary compensation
